About this campground
My space is in a small town. Quiet. Quaint. You can park on the street or for an SUV in my driveway. We are two blocks from the Sherriff's office. You're safe here. As a traveler, I love hosting fellow-travelers. If I'm in town and I have availability, you can come in and grab a hot shower or use the kitchen as long as you clean behind yourself. Just ask. Sometimes it’s nice just to get out and stretch your legs at a house and not spend a lot to do so. Please be aware that my home is also active on Airbnb and VRBO. So, the chances of other people being around is likely.

We’re just an hour from the Porcupines Mountains and twenty minutes from one of the best places to pick agates on Lake Superior. We are a block away from the KwikTrip. It has basic sundries and needs including fresh veggies and fruit, yogurts, salads, some groceries, alcohol, hot fresh foods, coffees, drinks, and DONUTS! Additionally, there are a few restaurants in the area including a bar and grill about two blocks up that serves some of the best burgers around!
