About this campground
Our location is located approximately 4.5 miles from downtown Alpena. (The map on Boondockers Welcome usually shows us out of town much further). This spot is on a paved road that is pretty busy during the day but quiets down some in the evening and overnight. Our spot can accommodate big rigs up to 45 feet long but is not pull through. (How’s your backing up skills?)😀😀 The spot is all paved with a slight grade for water run off. Use of leveling jacks are no problem if desired. Please see “House rules” for more important information regarding staying with us. Suggested Local Attractions: I’d recommend checking out the website below for current and up to date information.

- https://www.visitalpena.com/ HOUSE RULES ……….TANKS……… We offer NO TANK DUMPING anywhere on our property. I Will direct you to a local campground which has a dump station for $8 or $10 depending on choice. …………PETS………… Our 2 dogs (Standard Poodle 75# and Golden Doodle 55#) are off leash when they are outside. We don’t require leashes for your pets either but will work with you, if asked, so your pets can walk without interference from our very playful and rambunctious pups. …………TRASH………… If you’d like to dispose of trash, our local trash company sells ($5 per bag) single use branded trash bags that we can provide at their cost, to you and then dispose of on our weekly trash pick up day. Approximate size is 30 gallons and EVERYTHING MUST BE IN A CLOSED BAG. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
