About this campground
The campsite is idyllically located by Lake Askesjön. It was established in the mid-1970s by Eda Municipality. Here you can calm down, go for a walk in the woods and fields or just enjoy the good bathing water. During the summer season, simple lunch & dinner dishes, real Danish sandwiches and drinks are sold. The campsite has the capacity to accommodate 110 caravans, most of the places are occupied by year-round campers, but we still have room for more, both day-trippers and those who want to have their caravan here all year round. Skillingsfors is a small forest settlement just before the border at Vestmarka (Skotterud).

and is also a good starting point when you want to combine holiday, activities and shopping. Charlottenberg with its large shopping center is 2 miles away. In Skillingsfors we have a Konsum grocery store and a well-visited Hembygdsgård. There is also a popular waffle cafe across the road from the shop. Bönnäset Camping is about an hour's drive from Oslo when you drive over Lillestrøm and via Bjørkelangen.
