About this campground
Bodafon Caravan Park is a quiet site located on the outskirts of Benllech, with it's wide sandy beach, just around the headland from Red Wharf Bay on the East Coast of Anglesey.There are dedicated areas for Static Caravans and Seasonal TourersThe site is within walking distance of the village centre where holidaymakers can enjoy a quiet drink, good food and a stroll on the beach.Well behaved pets are welcome.Lligwy Beach is one of the last unspoilt beaches left on Anglesey, with kilometers of sand, parking and a shop to cater for your basic needs.

The beach is on the Anglesey Coastal Path.DirectionsBy road:Approach Anglesey along the A55 crossing the Menai Straits over the Britannia Bridge.Take the second sliproad, which is immediately after the first, following the A5025 signs to Benllech.This sliproad travels uphill, and then turn right at the junction.Follow the road for 10 miles, until you reach the village of Benllech.Travel through the village for about a mile, and you will see Bodafon Park on the left hand side just beyond the end of the 30mph restricted zone.By bus:The east coast of Anglesey is served by the No’s 62 & 63 from Bangor to Amlwch/Cemaes and back. The nearest stops to each park are:62 Timetable (52kb)63 Timetable (43kb)The nearest stops to each park are:Bodafon:Heading South towards Bangor – out of the park entrance and turn right towards Benllech - 150 yds on left hand side (just past the speed-limit sign)Heading North towards Amlwch - out of the park entrance and turn left away from Benllech - 150 yds on left hand side (in the lay-by as you walk up the hill)Melin Rhos:Out of the park entrance and turn right back to the A5025 main road, approx 1 mile. At the T-junction there are bus stops on either side of the road.Ty’n Rhos:Heading South towards Bangor – out of the park entrance and turn left towards Moelfre – 2 miles back into Moelfre and the bus stop is on your left hand side at the T-junction150 yds on left hand side (just past the speed-limit sign)Heading North towards Amlwch - out of the park entrance and turn right down the dip over the bridge and up past the entrance to Melin Rhos (or walk through the park and over the little red bridge that connects the two parks). Walk a further 1 mile to the A5025 junction where there are bus stops on either side of the road.By rail:The nearest main line station is Bangor and from there you travel by bus (as above) or by taxi.
