Reviews
Blood Mountain Shelter offers stunning views and a rewarding hiking experience, making it a popular choice among campers and backpackers. While the hike is moderate and provides beautiful scenery, some campers noted the lack of a water source and limited flat tent spots, which can make camping less comfortable. Additionally, the shelter's attraction of mice and windy conditions at night were mentioned as drawbacks. Overall, the campsite is well-regarded for its picturesque location and is especially recommended for those new to backpacking.
