Children will spend many happy hours playing on the rocks and in the rock pools which are a feature of the beach.Beachcast fishing is also very popular at this location.There is an 18 hole golf course in the nearby village of Morfa Bychan who allow casual day membership.Porthmadog, the nearest town, with its pleasant shopping and recreational facilities is the ideal base for touring the Snowdonia National Park.Site FacilitiesThe facilities at the park are of a high standard and include modern, heated, unmetered showers and toilets, including facilities for disabled visitors, with free hot water, electric Hook-Ups, coin operated laundrette and an excellent children's play area that meets all required safety standards.Disabled Accessibility StatementWe are fully committed to being a disability friendly park.This 12 acre site is situated adjacent to Black Rock Beach, 3 miles from Porthmadog and 1.5 miles from Morfa Bychan. We have tarmacadem roads to all pitch areas; all pitch areas are well maintained grass with space for caravan, awning and car. Parking next to caravan or tent is permitted. All pitches are accessible by car. We have a main toilet, laundry and dishwashing block, with ramp access to the side. We have a separate disabled facility in the central area of the park, with disability friendly appliances including low level WC with hand rail, shower with seat and hand washing basin.We ave private access to the beach via a footpath, but this is not suitable for disabled visitors. Parking and driving are allowed on the beach and access for disabled visitors is via the access road. DirectionsHaving crossed the Cob at Porthmadog, turn left at The Original Factory Shop in the High Street, and follow the main Morfa Bychan road to the end. At the beach entrance turn right to Black Rock Camping and Touring Park and Black Rock Cafe. If travelling from the A55 turn right at Tremadog then right again at The Original Factory Shop.
