Bivacco ai due noci

They watch over a hidden refuge, twin trees, walnuts at the foot of the Ghiridone, where the mountain has deep breath and the forest becomes wilderness. Here, in the Palagnedra Forest Reserve, in Boladee – the secret heart of the Centovalli – time slows down, the earth sings. During the day you hear the flight of the falcons, acorns and swallows; in the dusk the call of the deer graze in the fields; at night owls, crickets and glowworms light up the darkness as in a fairy tale of past days, while in the morning the ticking of the woodpecker sounds. The waterfalls echo not far away and carry the voice of the Rii della Serra to sleep.
