Birchwood Fishing and Camping

Washing-up facilities are located at the end of the toilet block.There are two large lakes on site one of which is available for day fishing so dont forget to bring your fishing tackle! Fish include common carp, koi carp, ghost carp, mirror carp, crucian carp, rudd, roach, tench and bream, the largest of which seen caught was 26lbs.Dogs are welcome free of charge but we do ask owners to please keep them on a lead at all times and to clean up after them. There are many walks around the local countryside accessible just outside our entrance, through the surrounding fields to either Skegness, Winthorpe or further afield if you would like.DirectionsWhen driving towards Skegness on A158 you will see a turn off on your left signposted Winthorpe/Addlethorpe (middlemarsh road) take this turning. Mill Lane is then your third turning on your left. Birchwood is then your first entrance on your right.Aternatively Drive past Southview Leisure Park on the A158 take your next left there is a mini roundabout in arroximately 50 yds. Turn left at the roundabout onto Beacon Way drive all the way to the end of Beacon Way. Take a right at the junction then your first Left into Mill Lane, Birchwood is the first property on your right.When arriving from the A52: Just as you approach the outskirts of Skegness you will see B&Q and Pizza Hut on your right you then need to take the next left Queens Road. Drive to the end of Queens Road and turn left at the junction onto Lincoln Road. Drive to the end of Lincoln Road and at the Junction there are traffic lights you need to be in the right-hand lane as you are driving straight across the traffic lights onto Burgh Old Road. Drive for approx. 50 yards and there is a mini roundabout, turn left at the roundabout onto Beacon Way. Drive to the end of Beacon way, at the junction turn right then first left onto Mill Lane. Birchwood is the first property on your right.
