Situated on the banks of the beautiful River Thames in open countryside at Benson there are full touring and camping facilities, including en-suite showers and laundry as well as an on-site restaurant and bar. Also available are boat moorings, storage, slipway, boat repairs, calor gas and diesel.CampsiteThe touring site is situated on a picturesque stretch of the river Thames and is a perfect base for anything from walking the Thames path or visiting the sights of the beautiful historic university town of Oxford.Pitch RatesOur rates are per pitch, per night and are fully inclusive.

Lodge accommodation includes fully fitted kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom with en-suite shower room, lounge, diner with patio doors to decking. For sale with a 20 year licence and 11 months occupancy.Boat HireSituated on the upper Thames Benson Waterfront offers a fleet of well maintained and fitted cruisers operated by experienced staff. This picturesque site is set right by the Thames Path in open countryside offering a choice of cruising directions, either east towards Henley and Windsor, or west towards Oxford. All boats have radio/CD players. TVs and hairdryers are available free of charge. We regret that no bookings can be accepted for all male/all female groups unless with prior permission. A non-refundable damage waiver is charged, plus a deposit against the cost of fuel used. All boats pass under Osney Bridge, Oxford, unless otherwise stated.Waterfront CaféThe café is open seven days a week throughout the year serving food all day. During the summer months (April-September) the evening bistro is open Tuesday – Sunday evening until 10pm – Mondays 8am until 6pm. The idyllic setting makes it a perfect place to watch the stunning sunsets over the river with a glass of wine.Boat Moorings and ServicesOur seasonal riverside moorings are very popular and much in demand but overnight moorings are usually available, please ring ahead to confirm availability and book. We offer a fully serviced pump outs, Elsan disposal, fresh water and Calor gas. Over winter, hard standing storage is available for owners who wish to store their boat out of the water. Outdoor Life BensonThe shop caters to anglers with its' tackle and bait shop. Day licenses are available for those visiting the area. Outdoor Life also offers day boat hire and Canadian canoes for anyone wishing to explore the countryside from the river. DirectionsBy River Benson Waterfront is upstream of Benson Lock By Road We are situated on the A4074 Oxford to Reading road. Benson Waterfront is opposite the B4009 junction. Parking is secure, through coded gates.Travelling from London - Cars: Take the M40 and then junction 6 the B4009, turn left towards Watlington.Travelling from London - Caravans and Motorhomes (Avoids the narrow roads in Watlington): Take the M40 as above but continue to junction 7 the A329 towards Stadhampton. Continue on the A329 until you reach the A4074, turn left towards Wallingford. By RailBy train from London Paddington stopping at Cholsey station. Taxi to Benson. By Bus There is a bus service connecting the village and Oxford which is the X39 Thames Travel bus service.
