About this campground
Our small secluded site was certified by the Camping and Caravanning Club in September 2005. We have space for tents and five caravans, each with electric hook-up. We also have fields that can be used for rallies or large groups.The site is open from April to October. Prices start at £8 per pitch (£10 in the high season) + £4 for electric hook up per night (2013).Facilities on site:- Electric hook up- Chemical disposal point- Drinking water- Freezing facilities are available- Farmhouse breakfast - if ordered in advance- Snacks, home produced eggs, burgers & steaks for sale from the farm- NB We do not have onsite toilets or showers CCC members only.

Membership forms can be obtained from the farm.Bed & Breakfast in the farmhouseIn the farmhouse two double with en suite facilities and one twin room are available for bed and breakfast at £70 double occupancy or £50 single occupancy per night for 2013.The guest breakfast lounge looks out over the beautiful valley in which we are situated.Guests have their own entrance to the bed and breakfast area and exclusive use of the lounge and a small kitchen with a fridge, kettle and microwave - ideal for preparation of snacks and drinks. We provide fresh milk, tea and coffee. In the evenings guests can relax in the cosy lounge area - with a log fire on winter evenings. Or enjoy the beautiful Dorset countyside in the guest garden with Buzzards circling overhead.Breakfast will be cooked by Joby using local produce where ever possible - you will be able to see the chickens that laid your eggs outside scratching around! DirectionsFrom Weymouth take the B3157 and head north-west towards Portesham. About 1.5 miles past the turning to Langton Herring turn right into Cheese Lane towards Shilvinghampton (the third tunring on the right).For the B&B & campsite: after 1.25 miles take the right turning as the road bends round to the left and follow the lane up to the farm. The campsite is half way up the lane on the left. For the B&B go to the top of the lane then turn left into the farmyard, the B&B parking places are sign posted.From Dorchester take the A35 towards Bridport, turn off left into Winterbourne Abbas and head towards Portesham. Travel through Portseham and head towards Weymouth on the B3157. Take the first turn left into Cheese Lane towards Shilvinghampton. For the B&B & campsite: after 1.25 miles take the right turning as the road bends round to the left and follow the lane up to the farm. The campsite is half way up the lane on the left. For the B&B go to the top of the lane then turn left into the farmyard, the B&B parking places are sign posted.We are clearly shown on the Ordnance Survey map OL15 of Purbeck and South Dorset (Explorer series 1:25000.
