When is a pond not really a pond? When it's a 749-acre lake! Choose a waterview campsite with a spacious pull-thru, a cottage right on the lake, or a cabin or lodge apartment. Then canoe, fish, swim, boat, or just relax and watch the loons from our peaceful, private beach. There's lots to do for our landlubbers too -- pancake breakfasts, ice cream socials, rousing volleybal games -- and even live entertainment! Take a day away and stroll through historic Bar Harbor or go hiking and exploring in famous Acadia National Park -- just a short drive away. There's something for everyone at -- or near -- Patten Pond. Seasonal sites available.
