About this campground
The camp site is located in the wonderful Golden valley and has fantastic uninterrupted views of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.BY DAYWe are a stones throw away from the wonders of the Golden Valley. The dramatic Black Mountains and the Skyrid are just some of the stunning views from the camp field, surrounded by boundless wildlife. The camp site is a fantastic base to start your walking from, with short 'round' routes for an amble through the woods or set out for the day and hike the Golden Valley. Cyclists are very welcome with ideal country roads for family groups or mountain bike trails within easy reach for the more adventurous. Bring your dog along there is plenty of room.

We have more sheltered, level sites nearer to the house for motorhomes.Note that the tent pitch area is on level ground at the top of a meadow away from all water courses.BY NIGHTFor those who want to keep an eye on the night sky, far from the glow of city lights, there is no light pollution, the wide expansive horizon and peace and quiet give the ideal conditions. We are so distant from the major cities and even small towns that there is no light pollution to get in the way of your view of the heavens.
