About this campground
Parking limited to 48 hours, controlled by PM. ● Vermicomposting toilets in the parking area, STRICTLY EMPTYING IS PROHIBITED. ● From Easter to All Saints: container for garbage bags and glass container ● Service area in the campsite 500 meters away. ● 7 theoretical places, in practice it reaches 10 or even 12, very fair. ● Bicycles prohibited on the GR34 (known as "customs road") and now closed, daily "velocean" route to the village (4 km, market on Tuesday, grocery store closed on Monday) ● Gasoline also on Sundays at the "Le Bretagne" café in Pont d'Armes (4 km) ● Daily step of the baker in season. ● Swim at high tide, fish on foot in several uncovered square kilometers at low tide.

● Spectacular tidal movements ● Many creeks with shallow waters ideal for families, warm water up to 30° at the bottom of the bay ● Be careful under the cliffs, the sea rises quickly with high coefficients. ● The place is actually called "the oxen walk", the name of the descent towards the beach that was formerly carried out by the teams of oxen in charge of carrying the seaweed that accumulates in the cove with each storm. There was never an agreement. ● GPS; Indicating "Parking of the Marche aux Boeufs" may prevent you from being guided to the other end of the GR. ● Respect for the place and its rules so that the flexible stance of the municipality of Assérac is maintained ;-)
