About this campground
Overview We are a friendly, family-owned campsite in the rural village of Kenardington, on the edge of Romney Marsh. The campsite is a well maintained five-acre site, edged with trees and a small pond for fishing. Close by is the town of Rye, steeped in history. The Royal Military Canal runs from Rye to Folkestone and is a great walk. The pebbled desert of Dungeness is a real haven for wildlife; seals and dolphins are regularly seen from the beach and if birdwatching is your thing, then the gravel pits are a stopover for migratory birds. The Rare Breeds Centre is a mile away and a great day out for the kids.

Ashford International station, Eurotunnel and Dover port are within a 30-minute drive. Post office/shop, pub, takeaway and railway station within 2 miles. It has a toilet/shower block with washing-up facilities and is five minutes to a bus stop. The camp kitchen open Fri- Sun am & pm offering hot food, breakfasts, ice creams & hot & cold drinks This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents*, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family-friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example. *Tents are not permitted on some CS sites in Scotland. 5 acres, gentle slope.
