Arrow Rock - Melvern Reservoir

Within the Melvern Recreation Area, Arrow Rock - Melvern Reservoir operates as an Army Corps of Engineers campground from early May through late September. The facility provides both drive-in and boat-in access to sites with electric and water hookups, plus standard amenities including showers, restrooms, and a dump station. Campers report that site #25 offers the most shade, while the boat ramps typically see light traffic. The shoreline consists largely of jagged rock that requires water shoes for comfortable swimming access, and the lake water appears murky. Weekend crowds can be substantial, though facilities generally stay clean.
