About this campground
Named after the Eragrostis Porosa, which is found around the grounds, the campsite is located with three washing blocks, each consisting of a shower, a toilet and a dishwashing basin under camel thorn trees, on the side of a mostly dry river bed. Our guests bring their own tents or campers and supplies. From the campsite you can self-driving your own gameobservations excursions or book an official game ride. The washing blocks spread evenly over the campsite, which is only 3 km away from the castle with its magnificent pool. The pool can be used if there is no private function in the castle.

The castle is a place for rent and very popular for weddings - it has recently won the LuxLife Award for the best rustic wedding location in Namibia. When large weddings take place, even the campsite is used for the wedding delegation and is not available to external visitors.
