About this campground
Welcome to Andøy Friluftsenter! You are always warmly welcome with us. Experience Andøy and Vesterålen, from spring to autumn. At the campsite there is a car park with electrical outlets for 35 caravans and mobile homes, and nice green areas for tent camping with outdoor benches. The service building has two showers, two toilets and a laundry room. We have placed emphasis on keeping the wilderness as a framework around the facility. Share our enjoyment of nature in Vesterålen, take part in the activities we offer and enjoy your own. Enjoy delicious, tasty food prepared with the best ingredients available in the "Vesterål pantry".

You can stay here for as long as you like, we promise to take good care of you and yours. We offer cabins for rent and have several different accommodation options. Here you can stay at the camp, cabins, seminar/group cabin or in our panoramic apartment. In the area around the campsite there are a number of hiking opportunities. Take a top hike up Eikefjelldalen, Reinshaugsheia, Lovikfjellet and Gårdsheia. Andøya is located directly under the "arc of the northern lights" at night, which provides the very best conditions for seeing the spectacular Northern Lights. During your stay, we offer trips into the valley on skis and snowshoes, or an introductory course with skis and snowshoes. We also offer ice fishing trips with a local guide in the areas around Andøy Friluftssenter, one of Nordland county's best waterways. It is possible to fish at Buksnesvassdraget in the summer. At Andøy Friluftssenter you can also swim outdoors all year round. Our wood-fired hot tub accommodates up to 12 people and is perfectly placed with a view of the fjord. See you!
