Regularly used for weekend breaks as well as weekly / fortnightly holidays you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and escape the trappings of modern life. Use this caravan park in Somerset as a stop on your way down to Cornwall to break up the long journey. Cycle Hire Available to explore the Chard to Ilminster cycle path (on the old railway line). The woods are great for den building. Try and complete the scavenger trail and receive a prize.Recycling and refuse bins, chemical disposal point and waste water disposal are all nearby with fresh water taps dotted around the site.The recently refurbished outdoor heated swimming pool is situated in a sun trap. The pool surround is furnished with sun loungers, tables & chairs. The on site shop stocks goggles, arm bands and rubber rings. There is an adult only swim time to tone up the muscles.The combined reception & small shop stocks most provisions and displays local information/ leaflets on the many local attractions. We stock local produce e.g free range eggs, bacon, sausages, honey, bread & cakes, milk.
