About this campground
On the Alp Grosser Schwyberg you enjoy a fantastic 360 degree panoramic view of 13 cantons at 1645 m above sea level. We have a website (grosserschwyberg.ch). The Alp is located very close to the idyllic holiday paradise Schwarzsee in the canton of Fribourg. The Alphütte also houses a cozy restaurant where we serve traditional delicacies. The place for the tent or the camper is about 150 meters from the Alphütte. In the Alp-Restaurant spoil our guests with homemade Rösti, Flammkuchen, Fondue, cheese cuts and other traditional delicacies. Hikers and bikers find in the region Schwarzsee a huge range of paths, and the lake itself invites you to swim or paddle!
