Le Port de Limeuil

Selected as this is a beautiful little site occupying a unique position on the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers opposite the medieval hillside village of Limeuil. A short walk over the river takes you to bars and restaurants in the village. There is a peaceful relaxed ambiance. The pitches are laid out in spacious wooded alleys that slope down to the river where there is a generous beach area for launching boats and swimming. The site has its own canoes – you are taken upriver to paddle back down to the site at your own pace, a trip that is highly recommended. A great site for a riverside holiday!
