Turnipseed Campground is a primitive camping area situated in the Talladega National Forest, approximately 1.5 miles past Cheaha State Park along Highway 281. The campground sits near the edge of the Cheaha Wilderness Area, making it an ideal base camp for exploring the surrounding wilderness and hiking trails. The Chinnabee Silent Trail, a popular hiking route, runs through the campground and provides access to natural attractions including Cheaha Falls and Devil's Den.
