This low-key retreat from the hustle of city life is surrounded by greenery and comes with spectacular views over the Calvados region’s countryside. Modern facilities on site include hot showers, toilets and a washing-up area, plus a small shop where you can pick up basic groceries and some camping essentials. Anything else can be found in historic Bayeux (10 minutes’ drive), with its choice of restaurants, markets and shops.
