We are also within easy driving distance of local supermarkets, Play barns for children and Dan Y Ogof show caves.From mid June through to August we open for pick your own fruit and vegetables including strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, gooseberries, broad-beans, peas and potatoes along with free range eggs and home made jams (when available).Dogs must be kept on a lead in the campsite and not allowed to wander or become a nuisance to other campers. Owners are responsible for cleaning up their own dogs mess.Owners of dogs who become a nuisance will be asked to leave the campsite at the owners discretion.FacilitiesThe New Shower block includes:Separate male and female showers and toilets. all with free hot water from the solar heating system, this is also backed up by a gas combination boiler.Family / disabled shower room and toilet with baby changing unit with metered hot water. The shower in this room is operated by a token meter, these can be obtained from the farm house or from David his caravan is next to the play area, 50p for 30 minutes.Separate washing up area for camping utensils with Hot & cold water etc.All Hand basins include hot and cold water. Sections of the toilet block will close daily between 11am and 1pm to allow for cleaning. but there will always be a alternative to useRecycling AreaWe also have a recycling area (on the left as you come into the site) where we would respectfully ask campers to deposit their recycling / rubbish.Children's Play AreaAt the top of the site is a wooden play area, suitable for children up to 12 years old. Small children must be supervised whilst using this equipment.Please note:Sections of the toilets will be closed for cleaning daily between 11am and 1pm, we would respectively ask you to use the family room, whilst this process is completed.DirectionsGetting to us is easy as we are just 500 yards from the main A40 road, 3 miles west of Brecon. Travelling time by car is approximately 3½ hours from London and 1 hour from the Severn Bridge, Bristol. The nearest train station is Abergavenny which is approximately 24 miles away. There is a bus stop just up the road from the campsite at the junction with the A40 which can take you into Brecon, linking to Cardiff or direct to Swansea, Please note we are the first campsite on the left after leaving the A40 and before crossing the bridge.Please be aware if using post code in a satellite navigator, it will actually take you past the campsite and you could end up on the wrong site and a lost deposit
