About this campground
The Aalsbogaard Lystfiskersøer campsite is a quiet and picturesque destination, located in the middle of beautiful Danish nature. The campsite has three lovely lakes on its grounds, each with a unique fishing experience. The largest lake has been converted into a special lake dedicated exclusively to carp and sturgeon. With careful planning and management, the aim is to gradually increase the maximum weight of the fish to an impressive 30kg. Great efforts have been made to improve the surroundings of this lake, where over 4000 cubic meters of soil, mud and rubbish have been removed. This has resulted in the creation of many fishing grounds, giving anglers undisturbed access around the lake.

In addition, future plans include the expansion of the middle lake to create a large island that allows anglers to fish from this unique vantage point. The other lake, affectionately known as the "nature lake", has been left untouched to preserve its natural beauty. Decorated with reeds, bushes and trees, this lake offers a peaceful and authentic fishing experience. It serves as a refuge for those seeking a more rustic and traditional fishing environment. Both lakes are operated as traditional "put and take" lakes, ensuring a varied selection of fish species for anglers to catch.
