About this campground

Hidden Knoll Farm crowns the Mayacamas Mountains on a volcanic summit with a stunning 360 degree four-peak view (Mt. St. Helena / Mayacamas / Harbin Mountain / steam from The Geysers), just 8 miles to Harbin (as the eagle flies), 16 miles to Napa, a romantic space that is close to conveniences, but feels very private and far away. The Astral Lotus Dome is in the best spot on the property, with a breathtaking panoramic view from Sunrise to Sunset. The comfortable furnished dome is steps away from a fill it yourself cowboy bathtub under a bamboo pergola open to the stars with bohemian privacy curtains.

Just the work, the view, and the chickens. The view that rearranges your strategy deck. Hosts have included engineering offsites, founder weekends, advisory days, creative retreats, artists, meditators, yogis...and quiet weeks of writing. There's something about the four-peak view that breaks open the next move. Mornings & Evenings A morning — Coffee, before the valley wakes. The sun comes up behind Mt. St. Helena. The valley is still shrouded in mist. It's sunny up here. You make a pour-over, pull a shot, walk out barefoot to the bench at the edge of the knoll. The light moves down the mountain. The chickens start. By the time the second cup is poured, the whole valley is gold. An evening — Then the sky opens. The fire goes in the stone pit. The bathtub fills, on-demand hot water, open to the ridge. Wine from one of the organic vineyards five miles down the road. By full dark, the Milky Way is overhead. No light pollution.
