About this campground

If you want to be in peace and quiet in a unique place with a wide variety of trees and vegetation, you are in the right place to enjoy nature with a capital "N". You can enjoy the shade of the box elder maple, yes, a camper told us about it, and the tree is over 50 years old. You will be on land near a tree that is over fifty years old and which will provide shade in the summer when the sun's heat becomes too strong. The place is very quiet and hidden from passing vehicles and road traffic. The vegetation is lush and from time to time you can have visits from deer that come only to feed on the land. There are also quite a few birds and chirping.

Activities: The activities you can do are walking throughout the town because there are quite a few woods. There is also the possibility of horse riding near where you will be, but you will have to go by car or bicycle, provided you notify us and book in advance. And also to be able to visit a Château listed since 2019 provided you make an appointment, it is approximately 400 meters from where you are. You can visit it during opening hours on foot, by bike or by car. If you come with your bikes or mountain bikes, you have plenty of trails to let off steam in the town's forests, provided you respect nature. Other comments: You have all the shops and supermarkets within 5 km that you can reach by bike or with your vehicle. There is also a lake near Bazas but swimming is prohibited, which is a shame. But from June to September you can go to Bazas where there is a municipal swimming pool at a reasonable price. You can, however, visit the town of Bazas where its cathedral, which dates from the 14th century and was never finished, as well as its square where there is a market every Saturday.
