About this campground
Base Camp Kennicott Campground. You can drive closer to the river and have a beautiful view of the glacier. If you only want to visit the other side of the river, you can park for up to 4 hours, or for 24 hours (you are not allowed to sleep in the car). There is also information material for the tours, etc. At the other end of the pedestrian bridge there are two shuttle services: $5 per adult each way with the white shuttle, or $15 adult day pass (from 13 years) or multi-day pass for $20 each with the Copper Town Shuttle. There are three stops: pedestrian bridge - McCarthy - Kennicott
