About this campground
From 16 to 18 May 2025 the campsite is full. Camping is open all year in the middle of nature in Avignon. Located on the island of Barthelasse, a short walk from the city of the Popes, this campsite is an ideal starting point for exploring Avignon and the enchanting landscapes of the Vaucluse. You have the opportunity to go 1.6 km with the free river shuttle and thus reach the city centre. On site you will find a small, practical supermarket, a swimming pool open year-round to the adventurers, and a cozy restaurant and bar under the mulberry trees. Sweet treats are also available to begin the day well. The campsite also offers bike rental, ideal to explore the island of Barthelasse and the surroundings, while you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of Avignon.
