About this campground
Pactola Reservoir Campground is located in the Black Hills National Forest along Pactola Lake and provides access to a wealth of activities. Rent a pontoon boat and cruise around the lake, or kayak or canoe around the shore. For those who like more extreme activities, cliff diving and scuba are also available. This park has something for everyone just off Highway 385 west of downtown Rapid City. What the campground itself lacks in amenities, the nearby Pactola Marina provides. Guests have full access to the marina including a general store, showers, Wi-Fi, boat rentals and fishing gear. The marina is just steps from the main campground and picturesque Pactola Lake. The lake itself is full of activities including jet skiing, stand up paddle boarding and tubing. If you like to camp near water, Pactola Reservoir Campground is your destination.
