About this campground
A great place in the woods on the outskirts of Caserta/Leucio, near the Reggia di Caserta. The place is very safe and with a lockable gate. In front of the front door is a house where a member of the operating team sleeps at night. The small square itself is about 200 meters from the house. It is lighted, very clean and contains bins as well as supplies. It is operated by WWF Oasis. As you approach look for the "WWF Oasis" signs.The crew is very nice and helpful At the complex you can take beautiful forest walks and go to a viewpoint that offers a view of the entire Vesuvius valley. The various phone numbers are available on their website. Proceeds benefit this WWF haven run entirely by volunteers. (The entrance is not exactly well listed, follow the WWF signs coming from below, they are hidden coming from above)
