Just below the "Pré Verney" pass. Take direction Col des Contrebandiers and during the climb take direction Pré Verney pass. It is possible to sleep at the pass. Picnic table on site. The best is to descend 2 km to be sure not to be disturbed by improvised barbecues at the pass.
