About this campground
Not the most beautiful and not the cleanest beach in Crete, but nice to spend a night here. Shady place under some trees, picnic/grill place for locals, pond with fresh drinking water from the gorge. 30 minutes walk to a beautiful waterfall in the gorge. The path down to the beach could be difficult for larger campers (seven and narrow), but no problem for vans. Don't forget to buy grill steaks or souvlaki!
