La Ferme des Cara-Meuh!

The Ferme des Cara-Meuh! is a family-run farm. The cheese factory, in Vains (50), is located in the middle of the 15th century and has been handed down from generation to generation. The farm is atypical with dairy cows, pigs, organic calves and a mobile water coop. The milk is transformed into delicious candies, cheeses, cream, fresh cheese, white cheese... On site there is a shop where you can find the products of the farm and those of 60 local producers and artisans. To discover the farm and the processing workshops you can follow a free educational route or book a guided tour. During the season a bar offers local drinks and delicacies (crêpes, ice creams) prepared with the milk of the farm. There is also a museum of milk, a local art gallery and a small natural park with deer. The farm is located in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, a few steps from the belook of "Le Grouin du Sud."
