About this campground
Quiet place with fantastic views of the Langanes peninsula. From 1954 to 1968, NATO maintained a radar station on Mount Heiðarfjall. Quirky place with old legacies. Hike to the abandoned village of Skala or to the lighthouse from 1910. The famous platform for observing sea birds can also be reached from here. Parking spaces are unlimited.
