The facilities were clean and well thought out. Really tranquil and everyone in the area was so nice! My dog and I had a nice walk around the are as well (tons of quiet public footpaths around the fields). The pitches were spacious, well-groomed and the bathroom cabin was lovely...hot showers, toilets, a kitchenette, and firewood/tinder is available if you'd like to do a fire in your fire pit...every pitch also has a picnic bench, which is very convenient. Really good value for money. \n\nJust a heads up though that a lot of people do allow their dogs to be off lead in the area. While visiting the cafe at the skydive centre, two cocker spaniels came up to us and one ended up attacking when my dog (on-lead) warned them that we wanted more space... They would not recall to their owner and I ended up with a nasty bite on my leg from one of them and it was really infuriating to be honest.
