The Summit is a high elevation, 2\-story cabin surrounded bordering the Pisgah National Forest\. The cabin was designed to give shelter while logging and hunting in the National Forest, but since has evolved into an off\-grid living and play space, located at nearly 3300 feet elevation on a 1/2 acre flat with an incredible view\. There are very private old forest service trails leading directly into the Pisgah National Forest\. To get to the cabin, it’s a 15 minute uphill and very steep hike\. One must have solid mountain hiking gear \(especially hiking boots\), \-and walking sticks are highly recommended too\. It’s important that you arrive before dark to check in\. Weather permitting, I will assist with my UTV to help transport supplies to the cabin\. Your vehicle\(s\) be parked near the trailhead at the Sawmill\.
