First off, there was no privacy on the site as each tent is directly next to each other. I would call it a shared space between about 6 tents. Very misleading. Then I noticed a spider in the tent. Then a few more. Then I looked up and saw even more. Then I noticed the mosquitos and ticks in the tent. These tents were obviously not bug-treated. When I pulled back the comforter on the bigger bed, there were black spots and debris on the sheets. I said heck no, these “glamping” tents are not maintained correctly and after a rough day, I was spent. No wifi or service on the property so I had to drive about 15-20 minutes away just to get any service, and at that point I decided to forego reaching out to anyone at the property and just find somewhere else to stay. This was so disappointing, especially since the river looked beautiful next to all of the sites, but the tents are just not maintained well at all. The tent can get a little chilly if you go early in the year like we did so don’t forget an extra blanket. Sleeping in a tent on a real bed was such an upgrade to our usual camping, we felt spoiled. I love tent camping, but we flew into Seattle to visit Olympic National Park and this was a perfect location for my needs — I didn’t have to pack supplies for tent camping, I just got to show up and still experience the feeling of camping. Listening to the water from the river right next to us was great, and so was hearing the rain on the tent in the middle of the night. \nI would definitely recommend the location for anyone trying to see Olympic NP, this site is very close to Mora station and Rialto Beach, and a great place to stay en route to Hoh Rainforest.
