Granite Reservoir offers excellent rainbow trout and kokanee salmon fishing along with water sports opportunities\. Crystal Reservoir, the smallest, provides shoreline fishing with a 15 horsepower boat limit\. The area is characterized by low\-lying meadows, gently rolling hills, and massive steep granite formations\. Curt Gowdy State Park is renowned for its high\-end IMBA\-certified mountain bike trails, excellent hiking, nearby off\-roading, an archery range, and diverse recreational opportunities including kayaking, canoeing, and sailing\. Wildlife abounds throughout the park, making it a prime destination for birdwatching and wildlife viewing\. The park also features Hynds Lodge, listed on the National Register, and an amphitheater for cultural events\.
