I felt so lost for about 20ish minutes up the gravel until I seen a sign I was heading the right direction. Upon arrival and after my anxiety attack (lol) everything was breathtaking. My group and I were treated so well, the hikes was peaceful, and the sounds of the creek next to our campsite was pure blissful. Being 100% off grid in a beautiful location was definitely worth everything. I would recommend this campground and I will be coming back. "

The peaceful nature sounds gave me such deep rest. All this peace and I was still able to sit on the porch of their store and attend a meeting when I needed to! I visited the sulfur spring and found myself alone there with the birds. I wished I’d stayed a few extra days. The campground was clean and the spring water delicious. It’s clear that these hosts love their land."

"reviewBody": "We had the most incredible stay here. It’s truly a hidden gem. The campsite was private, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Tucked away in the trees, we felt completely immersed in nature while still having thoughtful touches and amenities that made everything easy and comfortable.\n\nOne of the highlights was hiking along the creek up to the springs it was absolutely breathtaking. The sound of the water and the sense of solitude made it feel like our own little slice of wilderness paradise.\n\nThe hosts were friendly, communicative, and clearly care about preserving the serenity of the space. We fell asleep to the sound of the creek and woke up to birdsong and fresh mountain air. Exactly what were we’re looking for and so much more.\n\nThis is the perfect spot if you’re looking to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special and secluded escape.\n"

"reviewBody": "⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️\nWent for 4 days but wish I stayed for a week. \n\nHad such an amazing time disconnecting (no cell service for Verizon, T-Mobile, & AT&T) and enjoying the amenities offered: unlimited firewood, handwash/dish station, flushing outhouse, private creek access, nearby volleyball net. \n\nOn arrival you stop by the General Store to get a map of the grounds and will be lead to your site. Easy check in, learned a little bit about the area, and quickly got to our site. Not many insects! No one got bitten by anything although… I woke up to a spider crawling across my arm one night 😭 (but it seemed friendly). Saw 3 different deer on separate occasions, they tend to be curious so it was important to put our food away each night to prevent them from associating humans with food. When we ran low on ice we purchased a bag from the General Store along with a cold Dr Pepper. \n\nThe sites are far enough you don’t hear much from other sites but at night you will see your neighbors fires. But our creek seemed pretty private and we were able to bathe a couple times. The water is FREEZING haha but it felt amazing to wash up. \n\nAccording to my partner, the area was a nice hike because of the various levels of difficulty and terrain. Unfortunately I could not join on the hikes due to a knee injury. \n\nWill absolutely recommend & return\n\nBring: dish wash soap, hand lotion, back up septic safe TP, activities (book, instrument, ball, frisbee), charcoal, hand towel, flashlight, fire starter"

"reviewBody": "This is a jewel! The campsites are spacious, spread out along beautiful, clear, chilly Brown’s Creek. Each spot provided a charcoal grill and a fire bucket. There are hikes, both along the spring-fed creeks and to old mining sites. The camp is an old mining area, with gold seekers and the followers. There is a Forest Service Camp! Deer Lick Springs, at the end of the road, but not built on the banks of the creek. \n\nIt is 10.5 miles north of Highway 36, at the end of a narrow dirt road. We pulled our 24’ trailer and were so happy we didn’t meet anyone coming our direction. In places, the only alternative would be to back up to the nearest wide spot — something I dreaded. Once there, you’re there. Red Bluff is 60 miles east. \n\nFor quiet and solitude, this can’t be beat. The owners are dedicated to creating a sustainable space, with an organic community, hoping to generate ecotourism for Trinity County. "
