available space. It was starting to get late and we were worried we wouldn’t be able to find a place before dark. We started checking local hotels which were all booked and someone told us to check out Hipcamp. There we found TK Ranch in our search. The pictures and description were nice and we liked that it was located near the National Forest. Stephen was very quick to respond to my inquiry and we were booked within 10 minutes. After arriving, Stephen met us near the house. He was super friendly and accommodating. He showed us a spot on his property that he thought was perfect for tent camping that evening. We were thrilled with the location. Definitely a hidden gem. We quickly realized why our other plans didn’t work out that day. We were meant to camp on his gorgeous and serene piece of heaven. We saw several deer on the property and could hear the nearby stream as we relaxed by the campfire. I only wished we were staying more than one night to fully enjoy it. Stephen was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed talking with him about his property and things to do. The location was really easy to get to - paved road the whole way and only a short drive to get on the highway to explore the surrounding areas. There is a little creek on his property that our dog and toddler loved playing in. The fire pit area is set back in the woods and is so peaceful to sit and and enjoy nature, read a book or have a drink. The internet worked great, which was awesome as remote workers. The water and electric were great to have as well. Would definitely stay again.
