The cabin is located on the land where she houses horses she has taken in. The cabin has all of the great amenities one would need, fully furnished with pots and pans, towels, coffee, sheets and bedding, etc. There is also a TV, and wifi, and the cabin is furnished with Alices' paintings of the horses, adding a real personal feel the home. The cabin is also located on the outskirts of Ridgway, providing you with the close proximity of being close to stores, but nestled into the hillside, leaving it feeling remote. It also has 360 views of the San Juan mountain range. With the supervision of the host Alice, you can go back to the barn and learn about and watch her feed the horses! Alice was a cheerful and gracious host and left us to ourselves, which we appreciated. She was very responsive when we did ask for help.
