The space was clean and plenty large for 2 dogs and their humans to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. \nOne thing to note when booking is that the river included in the pictures is a short drive through town. The only access point that we could locate requires you to either walk-in or some careful driving on a bumpy, flooded dirt road for approx 50 yards. \nOur favorite parts included the cooking space and its gear, gas fire and the outdoor shower! This means noise from machinery, OHV’s, cattle, roosters, and dogs. That’s the reality of spending time camping in an area with ranches as work is happening at all hours. At night expect to hear lots of dogs from multiple ranches howling as I’m sure they’re doing their job watching over the farm animals. In the morning you’ll hear roosters crowing.\n\nWe had an enjoyable time, my daughter liked the animals. I had ear plugs to help dampen any sounds. My daughter didn’t, and said she had the best sleep there. The hosts are amazing people who were super responsive and would communicate proactively and helpfully. They also were very generous in helping with any items we forgot to bring. Thank you!\n\nWe traditionally backpack and disperse camp as to not be around people, but wanted to mix it up and we enjoyed our time at the ranch.
