Because of its popularity during the year, it is always advisable to check on availability\.The aim of Tanner Farm Park is to provide visitors with modern facilities within a quiet, beautiful, unspoilt rural environment\. The natural wildlife on Tanner Farm is considerable\.We have two immaculate centrally\-heated shower and toilet units, together with a launderette and kitchen washing\-up areas\. We also have shower and toilet facilities for the disabled\. Two open play areas are available for children\.The Park Shop provides basic everyday groceries in season as well as Calor and Camping Gaz supplies\.The Park has 100 electric hook\-ups providing 16 amps\. We also have hard\-standings and an all\-service pitches\. Park Facilities There are two toilet/shower blocks on the Park\. The South Block with level access has a dedicated disabled unit with toilet, washbasin and shower with wheelchair access\. The North Block has ramp access to the shower/toilet facilities and two steps to the kitchen washing\-up area\. There are pitches with easy access to both blocks for customers with manoeuvrability difficulties\. The North Block has a dedicated unisex bathroom which operates with £1 tokens obtainable from the Park Reception\. There is also a Baby/Toddler bathroom in the North Block\.RECEPTION/SHOP There is ramped access to the Reception/Shop with manoeuvrability for wheelchair users, prams and buggies\. The Reception/Shop is open from 8\.30a\.m\.\-6\.00 p\.m\. in season\. Out of season the shop has limited opening hours\.TOURIST INFORMATION There is an Information Room next to the shop and Library to the right of the Park Reception with level access\. There is also a freezer for ice blocks for which we appreciate a donation to charity in the receptacle provided\. All relevant information regarding local services – taxis, buses, trains, churches, shops, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions is available\. WALKS We have devised several walks and cycling routes which you might like to try\. Leaflets are available in the Park Shop \. Although we try to give clear instructions, people have been known to wander\! We also sell Ordnance Survey maps of the area which you might find useful\.TANNER FARM PARK ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENTTANNER FARM PARK IS SITUATED 3 MILES BETWEEN THE VILLAGES OF MARDEN & GOUDHURST, KENT ON THE B2079\. THE PARK ENTRANCE IS SIGNED FROM BOTH DIRECTIONS\.ENTRANCE The farm drive down to the Park Entrance is approx\. 400 metres with passing spaces\. There is a speed limit of 5 mph everywhere on the drive and the Park\.PARK/RECEPTION/SHOP There is stepped and ramped access to the Reception/Shop with manoeuvrability for wheelchairs, prams and buggies\. The Shop is open from 8\.30 a\.m\. to 6 p\.m\. between April to September\. Out of season the shop has limited opening hours which are displayed on the shop door\. New arrivals registering out of hours should use the entry phone by the Park entrance barrier to summon assistance\.BROADBAND INTERNET ACCESS There is wireless broadband access on the Park\. Wi\-Fi cards can be purchased at the Park Shop\. They are £5 for 5 hours use\. Remember to log off in between uses\.PARK ENTRANCE Security barriers operate at the entrance and using an entry code\. The barriers operate automatically on exit and do not work between 11\.00 p\.m\. and 7\.00 a\.m\. If exit is necessary in an emergency between those hours, there is an entry phone at the barrier to call for assistance\.PARK FACILITIES There are two toilet/shower blocks on the Park\. The South Block with level access has a dedicated disabled unit with toilet, washbasin and shower with wheelchair access\. A door key for the disabled unit is obtained from Park Reception\. The North Block has ramped access to the shower/toilet facilities and two steps to the kitchen washing\-up area\. There are pitches with easy access to both blocks for customers with manoeuvrability difficulties\. The North Block has a dedicated unisex bathroom which operates with £1 tokens obtainable from the Park Reception\. There is also a Baby/Toddler bathroom in the North Block\. The Launderette is in the South Block with level access immediately in front of the block entrance\. There are two coin\-operated stacked washing machines/tumble dryers, washing sinks and ironing facilities\. The washing machines cost £2 per cycle \(£l coins /multiples of 20p\) and the tumble dryers work on multiples of 20p\.TOURIST INFORMATION There is an Information Room and Library behind the Park Reception with stepped access\. There is also a freezer for ice blocks for which we appreciate a donation to charity in the receptacle provided in the Park Reception\. All relevant information regarding local services – taxis, buses, trains, churches, shops, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions is available\. There is also a folder containing general information\.ANIMALS There are lambs and piglets at Tanner Farm Park\. The pet areas are in a field signed from the Park as with level and slightly sloping access\. Orphan lambs can be bottle\-fed from Easter to the end of May\. Customers are reminded to wash their hands immediately if they have touched any of the animals\. There are hand\-washing facilities close by the animals\.PARK SAFETY The speed limit everywhere is 5 mph\. Cyclists, particularly accompanied by young children, must take care on the Park roads\. Cycling is not allowed off\-Park on the adjacent farmland as signed\. Young children must always be accompanied by an adult as signed\. Skateboarding is not allowed on the main drives\. Ball games are only permitted in the main play area on the Park\. On no account must ball games be played in, around or near any of the touring pitches\.TRANSPORT The local bus service can be hailed at the end of the drive on the B2079\. There is a mainline railway station in Marden with ramp access\. Train times are available in the Information Room or from the Park Reception\. There is bridge across the railway on the down line from London\. The nearest Station for disabled access on the down line from London is Headcorn\.SHOPPING There is a range of all basic shopping facilities in both Marden and Goudhurst with carparking facilities in both villages\. Marden village is level and flat; Goudhurst is hilly\. Cranbrook is our nearest town with a wider selection of shopping and banking facilities \(6 ½ miles or 20 minutes by car\)\. Further afield are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells with all the usual shopping mall facilities, restaurants, nightclubs, etc\.MOBILITY IMPAIRED VISITORS A limited number of A/P \(attendant propelled\) wheelchairs are available at Reception\. Please notify the Management in advance of your arrival if you require this facility\. There are several Goudhurst Roads in TN12 AreaTo find us when travelling from:M25 Dartford crossing: To avoid Maidstone continue round M25 to Junct 5 and follow signs to Hastings A21 South\. –2\.5miles past roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway \(junct B2160\) fork left on to A262 \(sign Ashford & Goudhurst\)\. 3 miles Goudhurst, turn left by Vine PH on to B2079\. 3 miles Park entrance on left\.M25 from the west side: Leave M25 Junction 5 A21 and follow signs to Hastings A21 South\. –2\.5miles past roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway \(junction B2160\) fork left on to A262 \(sign Ashford & Goudhurst\)\. 3 miles Gouhurst turn left by Vine PH on to B2079 3 miles Park ent on left\.From South on A21:\- Turn right ½ mile past Lamberhurst onto A262 then as from M25\. Please note B2079 from A21 to Goudhurst is not suitable for caravans\.Through Tunbridge Wells on A264:\- Follow signs for Pembury, A21 Hastings and then as from M25\.From East on A262:\- On entering Goudhurst fork right by Chequers public house onto B2084 one mile turn right onto B2079 thenas from A21\.From North through Maidstone:\- Follow A229 south through Loose, Linton down steep hill just after Stile Bridge Inn, fork right onto B2079 to Marden\. At\-Junct\. in Marden turn right \(still B2079\) 3 Miles Park entrance on right\.
