One quick thing of note: neither Verizon nor T Mobile phones had service at the site, so download/screenshot the directions and photos before you go! You’re just off highway 101, and that’s where I got service back.\n\nGreat, bright markings plus directions on the site made it easy to figure out where I should be, and there were a few spots to choose from for an 8 by 8 tent 🏕️ There is a great big barrel of potable water right at the site, which was fantastic! The outhouse was basic and clean, and stayed dry despite the constant drizzle. \n\nTwo cute, friendly pigs came up to their fence several times when we were near our car, and a beautiful herd of elk were resting in the field the first morning when we woke up.\n\nWe loved our time and will definitely stay again (if the spot is available!) the next time we’re in the area.\n" }, { "@type": "Review", "author": { "@type": "Person", "name": "Jennifer K." }, "datePublished": "May 26, 2025", "reviewBody": "Great host! Greeted us on arrival. Helped me and my nieces carry our gear back to the site. He also had wood available for sale. The directions were spot on but I do recommend you read the host directions before going because phone service is non existent. The campsites are within eyesight of each other but spaced in a way that you can have some privacy depending on tent placement. A big clean outhouse was available. The location (woods #2) was under trees away from the house so you felt like you were camping in the woods. All in all it was a fun experience with lots to do nearby. Lake crescent about 25 minutes away and Neah bay about an Hr and change and forks within 25min. Perfect central location for a variety of fun!
