We had an absolute blast and the camp set-up was very convenient apart from some tree stumps around the site that make extra lighting necessary. Chiefy and Tina were lovely hosts that regularly asked us if we needed anything and delivered extra water to our camp site when we ran out. The water is right next to the campsite which was incredible to hear at night and added to the peacefulness of the area. There were very few “issues” I had with the trip. One was that the firewood prices were quite high for the piles that were provided but I appreciate that the wood was brought directly to our campsite. We also initially were concerned with the small size of the fire pit but we were able to reconfigure the stones to allow for more room. The outhouse was pretty smelly but kept very clean and hand sanitizer, toilet paper and soap were all provided! Overall, we had a lovely time. We tried out the hike on the property which was VERY steep the entire way up but had a great view at the top. The weather was too cold to go into the river but i’m excited to hopefully visit again and do so in the future!
