Electric blanket, hot water bottles & blankets provided so, we didn’t feel cold at all. The bathroom is very simple, the loo is a porta potti. It was clean though! Easy to contact the host & lots of information given in the welcome document. The kitchen is outside, fridge available & there is everything you may need. Overall we had a lovely trip away. \nThe only thing we would mention is that we wish there was some sort of lighting directly outside the yurt as there are some steps to get to the kitchen / bathroom & you couldn’t see if you sat outside at night time, we needed to keep a torch on. We have been in so many types of accommodation from pods, huts, cabins, tepees, tents, caravans, the works but this had all the fine touches that made it a really amazing place to stay. Everything had been thought of and it is all beautifully done so you don’t have to worry just pack your bags and a towel and you’re good to go. \nThe setting is stunning with the surrounding fields and hills. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the tranquility, even sun loungers for the nice weather. Inside the hut, there is plenty of space to sit, eat and enjoy the comforts of a warm bed (the heated blanket is a brilliant idea and definitely needed for the colder evenings). There is a tv and sockets provided but we loved the added touch of board games and books so we could completely switch off from the world. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, stove, microwave and all the utensils and the bathroom was everything you need.
