They have made many upgrades including new power and water/ waste lines. The grounds are lush and green. Two things stand out though: some of the full service hookups were poorly placed so it is difficult to take full advantage of them or if you do, you find yourself intruding on your neighbors space. This adds to the feel that you are camping in a parking lot with palm trees. While they offer WiFi, there are so many RVs taking advantage of the service that you may be lucky to stream much. Our speed check showed 3 Mbps last night with 7-10 on subsequent evenings. As the old saying goes though, location, location, location- the proximity to Key West is unmatched and it is an easy ride into town. If you wish for a five star camping experience, visit the KOA campground on Sugarloaf key, just 16 miles away. Their sites are private, well appointed with brand new bathrooms and a most inviting restaurant/bar by the pool.
