Our youngest is a toddler so the campsite having an unobtrusive fence completely surrounding it was a huge help. The campsite is huge, we had three tents and could have easily fit more and still had plenty of room. We loved the big fire ring, playing in the creek and getting to know all of the farm animals. Her dog Shooter was so gentle with our toddler, a perfect nanny dog. The whole place was alight with fireflies at dusk and we could hear owls calling at night. The view from the campsite is beautiful and being on an elevated site, we had a nice breeze. We can’t wait to come back again. Can't get much closer to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the biggest unspoiled wilderness East of the Mississippi, and you are away from the tourist craziness of Gatlinburg.
