It was very private and a good size for our group of 8. (4 adults, 3 kids) We had 3 tents, a 23 ft trailer and 3 vehicles. The trailer fit ok, anything bigger might be a challenge. There was a very nice picnic table and a gas grill with a full tank of propane to use. The host brought in a pile of sand and toys for the kids and it was a huge hit! The kids loved it. There is a little trail that leads to the water and the lake was surprisingly warm. The host provided a kayak and 3 person float tube to use. We had so much fun! We saw deer, bunnies and we think a weasel? that visited our spot. The lake was fairly quiet and the view is stunning. There is a wooden chair overlooking the lake that is perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktail. Incredibly peaceful. This spot does get a lot of sun during the day so I would consider bringing a canopy on our next visit. The porta poti was very clean and well maintained. The host brought us a gas fire pit when the humidity dropped and we couldn't have a wood fire. They were amazing with great communication. We will definitely be back!
