This campsite offers a basic yet safe and affordable option for campers, particularly those looking for a primitive experience. Reviewers appreciate the great communication from staff and the cleanliness of the facilities, especially the Tardis Potty. However, the location is marred by nearby industrial structures and debris, which detracts from its charm. While it provides a secure environment and is conveniently located near Monte Vista, the lack of amenities like flush toilets and potential issues with off-leash dogs may be drawbacks for some campers.
